10 Posts. #15 · Jan 21, 2016. I have completed a number of 80% lowers from Juggernaut Tactical (T-6061), EP Armory (polymer), Polymer 80 (polymer), Ares Armor (T-7075) and a couple others. I have tried 4 different jigs before getting the 80 Percent Arms easy jig that uses the router to cut out the fire control pocket.

I appreciate that feature because other polymer lowers like the EP Armory can be very tough to get the pistol grip screw into. The bolt catch pin is a metal dowel with a separate 6-32 Allen head cap screw that threads into the receiver to retain it. Unlike other lowers the Polymer80 kit comes with three drill bits and a 7/16" end mill.

My $$ was also pretty low. $546 for the rifle kit delivered with 3 mags. $115 for 3 80% lowers delivered, $32 for the jig to get the holes drilled in the right spots. That jig also included 3 drill bits and and end mill bit with stop ring. And like $3 bucks for the dye.
